This is an original assemblage landscape created from embroidered paper plants. The paper is both repurposed from old paintings and new paper. The piece is three-dimensional, with plants layered at different heights for depth.

Art is a safe space where I create without pressure from others and myself. I started playing with my pile of mistakes paintings. There was no pressure to create something finished. In the end, I created what I imagine this safe space looks like.
That "mistake" pile seeded this sustainable collection and helped me outgrow my fear of failure. The “where the wild things grow” collection is a reminder that this space where you're free from expectation exists.
