Each element of this paper collage was embroidered, painted, cut and assembled by hand. This is based on a houseplant in my collection - Alocasia amazonica - that has lost all it's leaves several times, but always comes back. It's a dramatic, but resilient plant that I find charmingly inspiring. This is an original artwork.
