I created this imagined landscape while thinking of all the various textures in the desert. It can be an unforgiving place, but it's also a beautiful place where you can simply be.
This paper landscape was made from handmade recycled paper that has been embroidered. For durability, the piece has been permanently mounted to an acid-free mat. The hand-stitched landscape is an original artwork created by Leslie Espino.
